An intuitive website for a complex history
Since 1962, the Mauermuseum - Haus am Checkpoint Charlie has been telling the stories of people fleeing from East Germany and the history of the Berlin Wall.

We designed a new and confident web presence for this historic museum. A modular system enables us to structure the complexity of the museum while responding to an ever-changing program of events and key dates.
Visitors can easily buy tickets and find the information they need prior to their visit while also discovering in-depth articles about the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie and the museum’s history. An editorial content treatment, contemporary fonts and a cool blue colour palette are informative and approachable, without being stuffy.
